Manoa Falls

The Manoa Falls trail a personal family favorite as we've hiked this trail multiple times now, and have had different experiences. We've experienced this trail during the week while it was wet and drizzly and on a weekend with clear blue sky's and heavy foot traffic from the crowd. Either way, rain or shine, this trail is breathtakingly beautiful. However, if you rather dodge the crowd like myself, than I would strongly suggest hitting this particular trail first thing in the morning, during the week as soon the trail opens at 8AM. There is a nominal parking fee of only five dollars and when you have gone to some of the major cities in the US, five dollars feels like free. The trail is kid friendly and pet friendly. The trail is fairly easy but can get a bit muddy especially, when it's raining. Bug spray is a must (regardless of the weather) and I would highly recommend an extra change of shoes or sandals to change into after completing the trail.

I have three children the ages of 10, 6 & 1. They did just fine. Before the hike, my husband and I did a little research, just to make sure we weren't going in over our heads with this particular trail (you know, setting ourselves up for failure) and dragging our children along. That's the last thing we need! So, we came across an app called "All Trails" I highly recommend this app for anyone wanting to know about any trails in your surrounding area. It's free & It's pretty spot on, we use it all the time. It offers general information (i.e. Miles, kid friendly, pet friendly and even the degree of difficulty.)

Below are a few highlights we enjoyed while hiking Manoa Falls trail, HAPPY TRAILS!
